The Self Attunement

Stavavali Devi Dasi had a profound experience during her 8th and 9th degree attunement. The following couple of letters are pertaining to this experience. She first shared with us her experience and we then wrote to her and asked if we could share it with everyone.

Yes please do share my (attunement) experience on your website..I feel it is for everyone.

The offering of attunement to the Divine, this I have a great understanding of, from a hindu perspective. In hinduism we offer to the Gods and Goddesses as you know, our food which them becomes prasadam, or Maha prasadam if it isoffered to Deities in the temple. Anything at that the Deity accepts in this was is Maha prasadam.

Everything we have is Divinely provided, so in that sense everything comes form God, and in His Mercy He accepts back our offerings to Him.  I wear a ring which is Maha prasad, it came from the Lotus feet of Srimati Radharani in Vrndavana in India, it was then taken to the Ganges where many brahmanical prayers were said over it in the River Ganges, then it was given to me to wear. 
So it was offered, accepted, and then offered to me..
In the same way we offer prayer, we offer dance, music scripture and so on. So in this way you offered your attunements if they were accepted by the Divine, then the attunement became Maha Prasad. So this is very acceptable and very beautiful.

I have decided to ask for the next stage (10th Degree) on Easter Sunday (2004) and shall let you now what happens.

Thank you so very much for the attunements. 

During the attunement I had a vision of Jesus Christ. He was glorious and His energy was so pure, a vision of white golden light. He held out his hands to me as if to embrace, and from his hands came a pure white light that was sacred and Divine, it was an amazing feeling of cleansing and purity. 

His message to me was to go beyond the books. That human kind while respecting their individual teachings of Holy books should go beyond to the energies present there, to work with those Divine energies without any form of boundary and division..to unite in pure Divine Love of God.

This is the way forward for me as  Lightworker.
The energy was so very strong and I want to thank you both very deeply ..it was truly beautiful

Now that you know what kind of person Stavavali is we would like to share with you some of her insights into Self Attunement from her and some from us..... Self Attunement sometimes called Downloading is a type of channeling where people try and become attuned in different systems of Reiki without being attuned by someone who has already been attuned in that paticular system.....

A situation came up with a group who wished to self attune to Ascension Reiki and we were eventually contacted about it... It was a difficult situation and I tried to explain that we had encountered this concept before.... A gifted person had downloaded or self attuned to Ascension Reiki and a friend wrote to us about it... We contacted this person and were curious about it so we offered to Attune him in Ascension Reiki for free to see if there was any difference...

He said that the energies were similar and the attnement lasted for fifteen minutes..... For us that meant that out of an hour attunement he missed at least fifteen minutes or 1/4 of the energies and information when he self attuned. We didn't think about it again until this group contacted us.... 

We feel it is important to let you see one of the letters in the discussion of this subject.... We will leave out the name of the individual to respect their privacy and journey on the path.........................

There is no mention of self attunement in the book at all at present or about downloading attunements as others have called it... We were ourselves curious if there was a difference between _______ downloading his attunement and when we would attune him.... So we offered to attune him after he attuned himself.... 

He said the energy was similar but for 15 minutes he was being attuned... So in other words there were some missing pieces that were given to him when we attuned him.... This would happen I am sure if he had been attuned by anyone who had been attuned in Ascension Reiki... 

Even if you follow the attunement procedure of Ascension Reiki....in the manual you won't get it all.... 

Yes Our Creator is One. And if you feel you can receive an attunement in Ascension Reiki directly from Our Creator without understanding, and your will is set on it, then you will be doing it.... and no one can change your mind.... 

Do you understand what an attunement actually is and how it works?.... 

I asked Our Creator at one time if I could share the attunements in the way that you speak of... I was told that it is possibe... after all The Ascended Masters Attuned Me with Ascension Reiki... I am no better than anyone else... 

I was told that it is a very difficult process and long process....There are requirements that must be met for this to happen.... 

First of all Mother Mary has to choose you or call upon you and visit you in person...and bring you the vision of the Most Secret Knowledge.. I don't mean that she talk to you in your mind or heart or through guides but visit you in person... Then you go through some purfication and learning process and an acceptance of The Master Jesus as your Lord not because someone told you to do it but because you know Him and know Him in your heart..... 

The Door will not open without Him opening it for you..... 

Then there is much training in the knowledge of Gyana Yoga, the Most Secret knowledge of our Transcendental Creator..... You must become a disciple of the Ascended Masters and The Elohim first as you learn and get to know them personally.... Each Ascended Master you need to know is a personality of the Godhead and will teach you the anatomy of Their part of Creation and how we are all part of this pattern... When you have gone through discipleship you will then know all The Ascended Masters of the Godhead personally and they will be your friends.... They will continue to teach you until you understand how to ask to be attuned in your total anatomy..... 

If you don't know how to ask or what to ask for you won't receive.... They say "Seek and you shall find,  knock and it shall be opened to you." 

One last thing......
I let Our One Creator speak.... 
When you can see and ascend up the Divine Chord through all the heavenly Chakras of My being and Ascend to Me then you will know and understand the pattern of my being and your own being and non-being.... Then and only then will you be able to ask the right questions to be attuned in Ascension Reiki for it is given through understanding and service... 

When you are attuned in Ascension Reiki by someone who has already been attuned the total subtle anatomy is automacally opened because it was understood or stood under on earth... The attunements make it very easy to absorb and understand the information of our subtle anatomy..... 

So you see when you are attuned the door opens automatically that you may begin to understand.... you don't have to go through a long process to receive.... It has already been done to make it easier for you.... That was my Job.... I gave up everything to hang on to a little thread of light, it took years until I understood Why Mother Mary Visited Me..... 
I ask that you share this with your group that wishes to self attune.... This is a noble effort...  and we wish you well...

...........Self attunement is a form of channelling, therefore the person who self attunes (channels) genuinely, will be able to also channel all of the symbols and insights into the energies of  the modality, in exactly the identical way as the first person it was given to, with the identical conditions applying to the self attuner, as the original recipient of the energy.  They should be able to demonstrate all of the same levels of knowledge of the energies, as the original recipient. If they have not done this, they have not self attuned, but been given a gift of reflection of the light of the energy, not the energy vibration (modality) with all its individual characteristics itself. A reflection of the light is often as much as some dear ones can handle in their material and subtle bodies at this time. Therefore they mistakenly assume they have 'self attuned' in the same way and to the same level and degree as the original recipient of the energies. Yes dear one, energies are available to all, but all are not suitable channels to receive the energies without the conduit of a genuine recipient of the full energies................
